Zipp 303 Rear Road Bike Wheel w/CycleOps PowerTap 2.4: Perhaps the most versatile wheelset in our line, the light and aero 303 is well suited to hilly road races and smaller riders looking for control in windy events. Tubular Wheel: It's true that a Zipp wheelset is designed to be versatile but the 1182g 303 Tubular might be the most so, incorporating all the aerodynamic features of our deeper rims in a wheelset that's only 101 grams heavier than our lightest, the 202. While it's been used in all kinds of situations since its release in 1999, some of the 303's top results in recent years have come from smaller riders, like Olympic triathlon champion Emma Snowsill, who need a wheel less affected by heavy crosswinds. Then again, the big guns of Garmin-Chipotle and CSC-Saxo Bank also love it, so go figure. With Zipp's patented dimpling technology, impact-resistant Carbon Bridge and vibration-damping VCLC technologies, and a depth of 44mm, Zipp engineers have created a wheelset that's snappy on the incline, brilliant on the decline, and quick on curves.Clincher Wheel: Climbing, descending, sprinting, crosswinds, rough roads, and anything else you might encounter on a ride are no sweat for the 303 Clincher. This wheelset has it all: the convenience and braking performance of an aluminium clincher rim, the durability and comfort of M2CM and VCLC technologies, and the versatility of the 44mm rim depth. When conditions are unpredictable, the 303 Clincher wheelset is a sure thingSaris PowerTap: Weighing in at only 416 grams, PowerTap SL's Shimano or Campagnolo compatible hub can be used with virtually any wheel. And because it's so lightweight, it's perfect for racing as well as training, so you're constantly gathering performance data. Store up to 15 hours of data and unlimited intervals, with the ability to view past intervals while you're riding. And with the customizable display you'll never be more than a glance away from knowing your ride metrics. Simultaneously view power, heart rate and cadence-or mix it up further by viewing speed, distance or elapsed time. Compare heart rate to power output at any time or use the heart rate monitor off the bike for other endurance sports. The choice is yours. And so is the power to perform. All 2009 Zipp wheels (Excludes Disc Wheels) come with Steel Skewers & valve extensions. Buy now. Pay later on Lightweight Milram Limited Edition Road Bike Wheelset. Lightweight Milram Limited Edition Road Bike Wheelset: Since January 2009 Team Milram have been racing on Lightweight wheels. Whether in Cyclocross, the Mallorca Challenge, the classical spring races or other top events like the Giro or the Tour d´France - in every race all over the world you will find the ultra light and super stiff Lightweight wheels in the top positions of the peloton.Normally it is only a dream for a rider to use real pro material - with the new Special Edition Team Milram Lightweight wheels this dream becomes true! What separates the Special Editon Team Milram wheels from "normal Lightweights? First of all the Team Milram wheels have all the benefits of every Lightweight: They are extremely light, super stiff, really aerodynamic - and the first and only full carbon fibre wheel that can be fully repaired after an accident! The most important optical and technical feature that makes the Special Edition Team MILRAM wheel so unique is the revolutionary new white Duraflon-coating of the spokes and part of the rim. This brand new Duraflon coating has never been used on a bike wheel before - this is a real world advancement that only Team MILRAM uses worldwide, making this wheelset extremely exclusive. And that´s what makes the Special Edition Team MILRAM wheels so unique. Duraflon is not a simple wet paint but a real special coating that is stoved on - and into the spokes and rims at a temperature of between 150-180°C - and so Duraflon coating is absolute inseperatable and a real part of the wheel. Duraflon coating is based on a brand new Fluropolymer matrix with unknown capacities in wheel building. Normally Duraflon can be found on metallic surfaces of windows and metallic claddings and is known for its unbeatable durability against UV radiation and other atmospheric attacks. Thanks to the Duraflon coating the Special Edition Team Milram Lightweight wheels are facing an extremely longlife, they are scratch resistant, shiny and feature an unbelievable flush surface that is a kind of antistatic and avoids taking dust from the roads - and they are a winner when it comes to aerodynamics too! Due to its multitasking capacities Duraflon is way infront of other coatings like powder coating, 2-component, PUR, silicon polyester and even PVDF coatings. The extreme high density 3D structure of Duraflon can´t be damaged by most kinds of chemical cleaners and other chemical tinctures either. Special Edition Team MILRAM Lightweights are made for the hard every day pro tour formula 1 race - and the attacks of the team mechanics after a great victory. 1 Set Lightweight Standard III Special Edition Team Milram wheels including Duraflon coating1 Lightweight wheel bag for two wheels1 Set of lightweight quick releases - probably the lightest quick releases worldwide1 Set of Lightweight carbon specific brake blocksThe third generation wheelsetEven further weight reductions combined with markedly improved stiffnessNo rim tape is needed, further reducing overall weightRear wheel equipped with DT Swiss 190 hubsFront wheel equipped with Lightweight hubs and magnet built into rim for computersSystems: Shimano (SRAM compatible) or Campagnolo 9/10 SpeedFront wheel spoke count: 16Rear wheel spoke count: 20Weight per set: 1080Max rider weight: 110kgApplication: RoadTubular: YesRim dimensions: 48mm/20mm

Buy now. Pay later on Zipp 808 Road Bike Rear Wheel w/CycleOps PowerTap 2.4. Zipp 808 Road Bike Rear Wheel w/CycleOps PowerTap 2.4: The 808 is a proven winner in triathlons and time trials, and an up-and-comer in road racing worldwide. The 2009 model sports a faster, stiffer rim shape. It did pretty well in those disciplines, netting a Kona IM world championship with Normann Stadler and the fastest Tour de France time trial in history with David Zabriskie. But lately we've seen the 808 more frequently at road races. Fabian Cancellara, no TT slouch himself, has ridden the 808 to victory with his trademark last-kilometer solo attacks at the Tour de France and Milan-San Remo and it was Fabian who told us, "The 808 is the new 404 for me.Clincher Wheel: Like the tubular version, the 808 Clincher excels whenever the situation calls for an all-around wheelset with a heavy dose of aero attitude. The deep profile and 16/20 front/rear spoke count will satisfy even the most focused time trialists and triathletes, yet it's minimally affected by crosswinds and stiff enough for sprinters like CSC-Saxo Bank's J.J. Haedo.Plus, with the combination of its 82mm profile and Zipp's M2CM rim technology, the 808 Clincher is perhaps the most rugged racing wheelset on the planet, having outperformed all comers in drum impact testing in both the U.S. and Europe.Tubular Wheels: We're not ready to say that officially, but we will say that the fully redesigned 2009 version is the fastest road racing wheel ever. The new fully toroidal tubular rim uses design cues from the 1080 and Sub 9 development to further reduce the drag by 8-25 grams over the original 808. The new shape yields to a savings on the road of 2-7 watts of power for a pair of wheels at 30mph, not to mention the real-world benefits of added stiffness and improved braking due to a slightly wider rim and angled brake track. At 1462g per pair with 16/20 front/rear spokes, the new 808 Tubular is finding a home with more and more triathletes and road racers. Maybe Fabian is right, after all.Saris PowerTap: Weighing in at only 416 grams, PowerTap SL's Shimano or Campagnolo compatible hub can be used with virtually any wheel. And because it's so lightweight, it's perfect for racing as well as training, so you're constantly gathering performance data. Buy now. Pay later on Lightweight Ventoux 240 III Tubular Road Bike Wheelset 2010. Lightweight Ventoux 240 III Tubular Road Bike Wheelset 2010: The "Ventoux weighing in at only 1020g for the set. Now includes wheelbag, skewers and brake blocks. Lightweight wheels have a renowned reputation within the pro peloton with many of the big names wanting to ride them during the big pro tours. The wheels first gained their fame after Bjarne Riis rode them to his 1996 Tour de France victory and have played a major role in every Tour win since. Many top names within the peloton including Armstrong, Pantani, and Ullrich have all purchased and used these wheels in major Tour and World Championship victories. One instance of this, which was captured on film during the 2003 Tour de France involving Lance Armstrong, Iban Mayo and Jan Ullrich, was on the penultimate climb of the stage. The now famous photograph showed Lance and Iban on the floor, brought down by a spectator watching by the side of the road, with Jan leaning heavily to his left to avoid hitting them both. If you look at Jan's bike it clearly displays a set of 53mm deep section Lightweight wheels and proving that no better evidence exists of the seemingly impossible balance of stiffness, lightness, aerodynamics, and toughness offered by Lightweight.Lightweight wheels are 100% handmade in Germany with their quality and reliability setting them way above their competitors. They take the all-carbon wheel in a direction no other wheel manufacturer has gone. Lightweight laminate the carbon/kevlar spokes directly into the hub and rim, and all wheels are equipped with a memory chip. These chips store data tracking each wheel's manufacturing history, including serial number and production data. The chips weigh only 0.2g and can facilitate top level service. With all this in mind these wheels have become a must-have wheelset of the professional peloton and riders personally purchasing a set, at full retail price, for themselves to use in specific stages of all the big tours. You can see more evidence of their usage by the pro peloton when you look back in time at other major events. In 2002 Mario Cipollini won the 2002 World Championships on a set, Lance Armstrong also rode to victory in the 2002 Tour de France on a set, most noticeably on the worst mountain stages and Team Bianchi in 2003 and T-Mobile in 2004 utilising them nearly exclusively for all applications in the Tour. The benefit of a pair of Lightweight wheels is not just going uphill or on the flat, it's also when descending at high speed when their perfect balance reduces gyroscopic effects and enhances the bikes handling. This was one of the main benefits to a certain great climber who had difficulty getting back down the other side after destroying riders going up the climb!Lightweight Ventoux features an extremely light, low profile rim which is the main key to this wheelset's very low weight. But it's not low weight alone that makes these wheels accelerate like no other: Reduced mass at the outer perimeter means that less torque is required to bring the wheel up to speed. Thus, these wheels accelerate even faster than the scales alone would have led you to predict.Lightweight Ventoux is no aero wheelset, but they still paid careful attention to aerodynamics when developing these wheels. Despite its lower profile the rim has an aerodynamic tear shape. The 20/24 fibre spokes feature the same lens shape as on our aero wheels. Spoke count is significantly lower than with other manufacturers' wheelsets with low profile rims, again improving aerodynamics. Even when riding extremely light weight wheels aerodynamic properties can be the decisive factor towards winning a race.Lightweight Ventoux wheels feel right at home at high altitudes, but they will certainly see lots of use in the classics season. Whenever the least possible weight and explosive acceleration are the key, there is only one obvious wheel choice! A record-breaking weight of only 1020g combined with 20 tough fibre spokes give you unparalleled climbing power.Generation III of our wheelsets uses new spokes which are completely made from carbon fibre. Thus the wheels are 30% stiffer than the previous version with aramid/carbon fibre mix. Aside from the enormously increased rigidity the new all-carbon fibre spokes offer marked improvements in three important fields: tensile strength, notched bar impact testing and spoke pull-out. So far the use of these spokes was technically not possible. By means of a new, secret production procedure our wheelsets with deep-section rims can now be equipped with these stronger all-carbon fibre spokes. Thus, the current generation III wheelsets are 30% stiffer than those of the 2nd generation, and 40% stiffer than Lightweight original wheels.
