Campagnolo Record 11 Speed Rear Derailleur: The 11 speed rear derailleur has been designed to be more rigid, more precise and faster. The Record rear derailleur is provided with a carbon fibre outer plate which increases rigidity by 150%. The pulleys are fitted on an aluminium and carbon cage and turn on ceramic bearings.Utilising their proven Ultra Shift derailleur design which provides precise, low effort crisp shifting due to improved stiffness in the derailleur cage. This is achieved by a 13% reduction in actuation force needed to engage a shift. Stiffness is improved by manufacturing the upper body of the derailleur from forged aluminium. Its forged construction saves weight and improves durability, whilst also aiding performance. The use of a carbon fibre outer plate offers similar benefits. Carbon fiber is light, tough, and its stiffness ensures that shifts under load are carried out as precisely as casual shifts. When compared to the Record 10 derailleur, the all new Ultra Shift system provides a 150% increase in torsional stiffness.Record 11 doesn't just stop there though, Campagnolo have inspected and improved nearly every part of the Record derailleur, the Super Record 11 even uses a new jockey wheels.
